The Evansville African American Museum (EAAM) preserves, celebrates, and shares the history and culture of African Americans in Evansville, the region, and beyond.
Located in Evansville's historic Baptisttown community, the museum is housed in the last remaining building of the former Lincoln Gardens housing development. Today, EAAM welcomes visitors of all ages to explore exhibits, discover stories, and connect with the people and experiences that have shaped our community.
