Poet, cultural producer and educator from Saint Paul, MN, Tish Jones is an award winning artist with a deep and resounding love for Black cultural expression and ways of knowing. She infuses those practices into her artistic aesthetic, organizing, and pedagogy. Jones has created curriculum, organized international festivals and events, toured one-woman shows, performed original works of poetry, rap music, and song, and more.

Join us April 19 at 6pm for a delicious Soul Food buffet and The Freetown Singers of Indianapolis, IN! The Singers preserve African American traditions and culture through storytelling and an interactive collection of traditional folk songs and Negro spirituals. Cash bar and community vendors will be onsite. Vendor area open at 5pm; doors open at 5:30pm.

Open to all members! We will review our 2024 successes, financials and the new 2025 Board roster. There will also be a guest speaker and refreshments served.
